In order to determine the efficacy of the collars, researchers conducted a study on the content of imidacloprid and flumethrin in a series of randomly chosen Seresto collars. The active components inside the collars have been measured making use of HPLC and acetonitrile precipitation. All authors contributed to the analysis and added substantial editorial work to the last manuscript.
